Preacher

Steven Matthews began working with the Tidewater church of Christ in December 2016. Prior to moving to Chesapeake, Steven spent the past 5.5 years preaching -- 4 years at the Haynes Street church of Christ in Dayton, Ohio, and most recently 1.5 years at the Englewood church of Christ in Englewood, Ohio. During that time, Steven also worked for Cox Media Group Ohio for 13.5 years as a reporter.

This is Steven's first opportunity to preach on a full-time basis, and he considers it an honor and privilege to serve the brethren at Tidewater. Steven, his wife Nicole, and their two daughters reside in Chesapeake.
