God Has a Positive Answer

We say, “It’s impossible.” God says, “All things are possible” (Luke 18:27). Here’s what’s impossible: Without obedience, it’s impossible to please God. Without dedication, it’s impossible to serve God faithfully. Without the shedding of Jesus’ blood, it is impossible for us to enter into heaven. But because of God, all things are possible, including pleasing and obeying Him. We can do it.

We say, “I’m too tired.” God says, “I will give you rest” (Matt. 11:28-30). God can cure all ailments if we allow Him to. As Jesus extends His hand, we need to reach for it and accept it. Have confidence that Jesus will give you rest.

We say, “I can’t figure it out.” God says, “I will direct your steps” (Prov. 3:5-6). We live in a dark and sinful world, and the Bible is a light; our guide to holy living.

We say, “I can’t do it.” God says, “You can do all things” (Phil. 4:13). As it pertains to God and His work, the phrase “I can’t do it” should not be a part of our vocabulary. Let us be profitable servants.

We say, “It’s not worth it.” God says, “It will be worth it” (Rom. 8:28). God has a plan for you and me. It’s up to us to accept that plan. The prize outweighs anything that this world can offer.

We say, “I’m always worried.” God says, “Cast all your cares on Me” (I Pet. 5:7). There’s uncertainty in life. There’s uneasiness in life. There’s worry in life. God says He will take care of us. Trust Him.

We say, “I’m not smart.” God says, “I will give you wisdom” (I Cor. 1:30). Wisdom isn’t found in man. It’s found in the pages of the Bible. But it’s up to us to ask God for wisdom in our prayers to Him (James 1:5).

We say, “I feel all alone.” God says, “I will never leave you or forsake you” (Heb. 13:5). God’s not going anywhere. He’s right by our side if we want Him to be. Why wouldn’t we want it any other way?
